Job Title: Service Coordinator/Dispatcher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will act as the central point of communication for field service technicians, customers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will efficiently coordinate service requests, schedule technicians, and ensure timely resolution of customer needs, all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Dispatching:
- Assign and schedule service calls to field technicians based on priority, location, and technician availability.
- Monitor technician progress and update schedules as needed.
- Customer Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, handling service inquiries, scheduling requests, and follow-ups.
- Provide status updates and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Coordination and Logistics:
- Maintain a detailed understanding of job requirements, technician skills, and resource availability.
- Track inventory and ensure necessary parts and equipment are available for scheduled jobs.
- Record Keeping:
- Create and maintain detailed service records, including work orders, schedules, and customer interactions.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the company’s service management system.
- Problem Solving:
- Proactively address delays, conflicts, or issues that arise during service operations.
- Communicate solutions effectively to both customers and internal teams.
- Team Collaboration:
- Liaise with field technicians, sales teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide feedback on service trends or challenges to improve processes.
