What we will need from you:
You will be primarily self-directed with an internal discipline to self-manage your activity. Your time will be spent prospecting for new customers by cold-calling, dropping in, networking, attending industry events, etc. You will be actively seeking potential customers who need our services, and value their respective portfolio with upgrade and retrofit mechanical HVAC projects as a primary focus, with preventive maintenance part of the sales responsibilities. BAS experience a plus, but not a requirement. The process will include continuous filling of the sales funnel CRM with customer opportunities.
Primary Duties:
As a Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing our Service Projects and renewable Service business, including renovations, upgrades, PM’s and BAS projects. You will be marketing and selling to facility owners and managers in diverse markets including healthcare, retail, commercial property management, pharmaceutical, and hospitality, to name a few. You must have a successful track record of finding, qualifying, and closing new business primarily through cold calls and self-generated leads.
Position Description
Responsibilities include:
· Currently working with a Mechanical HVAC contractor in a sales position in our target territory a plus. (This is so you will have less ramp up time to get rolling, and able to bring over a book of business/existing customers.)
· Identify and qualify HVAC sales opportunities in both retrofit and service projects and ongoing preventive maintenance.
· Develop HVAC based solutions to support the client on all kinds of building development and retrofit projects.
· Develop and exploit existing marketplace to increase company revenue.
· Effective communication skills must be demonstrated as both written and verbal, with dealing and closing skills important to the success of the position.
· Maximize profitability utilizing value selling and benefits of upgrade opportunities.
· Experience in the mechanical HVAC industry only. BAS experience a plus.
You must have prior success in making presentations to prospective customers with strong ability to sell value in a persuasive manner.
· You must be able to quickly form relationships and build trust.
· You must be professional in demeanor, operating as the one point of contact for any and all matters specific to your prospects.
· You must be flexible, able to adapt to different situations with ease.

· Identify prospects and properly qualify them in your assigned market.
· Promptly follow up on leads and referrals.
· Aggressively manage quotes to close sales
· Provide site visits, self-perform your own estimates and proposal generation.
· Redeem annual booking plan in assigned markets
· Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met
Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of experience with business-to-business sales in the HVAC industry
· Estimating skills
· Knowledge of the business environment in the region
· Excellent communications skills and ability to engage in professional networking
