Job Title: HVAC Service Sales Represenative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial clients, identifying their HVAC service needs, and offering tailored maintenance agreements and repair solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, and key decision-makers.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals: Conduct client meetings, present HVAC service solutions, and prepare customized maintenance agreement proposals.
- Needs Assessment: Evaluate client HVAC systems and service history to recommend appropriate maintenance programs and service contracts.
- Sales Goals & Performance: Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas by closing new service agreements and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position our services.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract negotiations in CRM software.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of sales experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or a related industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, service agreements, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical clients.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-related tools.
