Job Title: HVAC Service Manager
Qualifications:
· 5+ years experience in the Plumbing/HVAC Service industry
· Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Refrigeration license preferred
· Proven ability to initiate work, make strategic decisions, and follow through to meet deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
· Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
· Strong supervisory, communications, computer, and mathematical skills are required
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate workload and schedule service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits
· Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
· Responsible for creating and managing budgets
· Ensures all service vehicles and equipment are properly treated and maintained
· Ensures all technicians maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements of operating a company vehicle
· Ensures technician licenses and certificates are renewed and kept up to date
· Provides technical support for service technicians
· Ensures compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
· Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs
· Works closely with Project Managers and or GC/Owners on service-related projects
· Holds meetings and one-on-one training as well as periodic reviews
· Ensures that all technicians are following all company guidelines and policies
· Conducts research and participates in the marketing process of the department to create new business opportunities
· Ability to field after-hour calls, if required
· All other duties required of this position, as assigned by the President
