JOB SUMMARY: 

We seek a Project Engineer to be responsible for setting up and tracking project documents such as submittals & schedules, reviewing project specifications for project compliance, and working with both internal & external team members to ensure project success.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare project submittals based on plans and specifications.
  • Work with the transfer of the project from Preconstruction to the Operations Team including review of scope, schedule, estimated hours per trade, and project requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, track, and revise project documentation to customers, general contractors, and engineering firm.
  • Prepare project tracking documentation for project operations team.
  • Assist project team with tracking of project performance based on cost and scope completed.
  • Review, submit, and track project closeout documentation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC&R systems and related supporting utilities.
  • Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC&R industry.
  • Good Verbal and written communications skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree desired
  • Industry related experience a plus
