JOB SUMMARY:
We seek a Project Engineer to be responsible for setting up and tracking project documents such as submittals & schedules, reviewing project specifications for project compliance, and working with both internal & external team members to ensure project success.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare project submittals based on plans and specifications.
- Work with the transfer of the project from Preconstruction to the Operations Team including review of scope, schedule, estimated hours per trade, and project requirements.
- Prepare, submit, track, and revise project documentation to customers, general contractors, and engineering firm.
- Prepare project tracking documentation for project operations team.
- Assist project team with tracking of project performance based on cost and scope completed.
- Review, submit, and track project closeout documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC&R systems and related supporting utilities.
- Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC&R industry.
- Good Verbal and written communications skills.
