We provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and gas design services for a diverse array of built environments, such as multi-tenant (multi-family, office, hotel, assisted living, retail), retail, office, medical (office, research, treatment, hospitals), technology (manufacturing, data, telecom), recreation (parks, community centers, performance, sports), education (K-12 and higher learning), and government facilities. Although a Florida Based company with office in the Tampa Bay Region, we have national reach with about 30-40% of its services performed on behalf of projects throughout the US.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We seek a Mechanical Engineer (Professional Engineer – early to mid-career). Qualified applicants must have practical experience using AutoCAD / Revit. Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design and electrical engineering is preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual data and information into construction documents and specifications for various building projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of construction documents for MEP/FP design and coordination among disciplines
- Supporting construction administration support services through review of information and site visits during and upon completion of construction
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests and other data to plan and schedule work to meet negotiated deadlines
SKILLS
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer aided drafting programs and techniques using AutoCAD / Revit
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate directly with owners, architects, contractors, power companies, other design professionals
- Demonstrate proficiency using professional software and tools like Microsoft Office / Word / Excel)
- Be a self-starter with ability to work independently and manage priorities/deadlines on multiple tasks
