Since 1968 COMPANY has become a preferred parts provider and partner to mechanical contractors, system integrators, schools, hospitals, and other vertical markets in the markets we serve.
We are a stocking distributor for over 100 manufacturers including Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Distech, Belimo, Bell & Gossett and Fireye. Through eight branch locations, we provide replacement parts, retrofit solutions, control system design, as well as other building control solutions.
Description:
COMPANY is looking to add an outside sales team member that will seek out, and drive new business in the St. Louis, Missouri, and related Southwestern Illinois markets.
- Cold calling on mechanical, electrical, and building automation contractors
- Strategic business development and account management
- Replacement part sales such as thermostats, valves and actuators, dampers, controllers, pumps, contactors and relays, and many other control accessories.
- Recommend and advise customers on replacement part upgrades and retrofit opportunities for control system upgrades.
- Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently to ultimately drive results.
- Organizational skills, professionalism, and market familiarity are a must.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory, and make daily sales calls (some overnight travel may be required)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Computer skills are required.
- Sales, Engineering, or Contracting experience in HVAC is desired.
- Building Automation System (BAS) experience is a plus, but not required.
- Niagara certification is a plus, but not required.
