HVAC ESCO Project Manager – Cleveland Ohio

Responsibilities:
• Provide daily construction, administrative, and technical management of renewable construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, government and commercial customers.
• Drive profit through efficient project execution and change orders/value add.
• Meet with internal/external project stakeholders on a regular basis and communicate with all in writing.
• Maintain project status notes, for example, keeping accurate notes when attending internal and external meetings and document back to stakeholders when necessary.
• Assist management as required with project accounting, budgeting, project schedule and tracking, reporting quality management and internal communications.
• Ensure compliance with our financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policies and project set up rules. Serve and assist as a liaison between the business office and operations.
• Direct interface with our customers managing customer service, relationships and contractual obligations.
• Assist the Engineering and Development team and the in-project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation and project scheduling.
• Regularly monitor assigned project performance and cost estimates to forecast estimates through to project completion for reasonableness against plans and actual expense rate.
• Review subcontractor and vendor bids solicited by the team to help determine scope, schedule, timely delivery for all project related materials, equipment and construction services.
• Managing vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control, project delivery on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain and update project schedules to reflect current information, monitor critical path activities and tracking of outstanding items.
• Managing project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, monthly forecasting and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company, industry, customer and jurisdictional safety standards, practices and codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or the equivalent. Completion or progress toward engineering, technical, or industry-related education is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years industrial power, electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, and energy services.

Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with the following energy efficiency disciplines – direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements is preferred.
• Has demonstrated understanding of construction procedures such as AIA forms, progress billing, RFI/RFQ process and will be responsible for creating Schedule of Values (SOV) on all assigned projects to maintain positive working capital.
• Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
• Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project. Procore experience is desirable.
• Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
