HVAC Account Manager – Dallas Texas

We are a commercial and industrial mechanical contractor based in Texas specializing in HVAC/R, plumbing, boilers, building automation, and equipment rentals. With over 50 years of experience, we focus on installation and maintenance of air handling equipment, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, and more.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Account Manager to build lasting partnerships with new and existing commercial clients. You will play a critical role in identifying customer needs, proposing HVAC solutions, and ensuring superior service delivery with support from our expert technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits and facility assessments to evaluate HVAC needs.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for service agreements, retrofit projects, and system upgrades.
  • Generate and deliver accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and strategic growth objectives.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with operations, service, and engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and field teams to maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strategic Account Management:
  • Track client performance, renewal timelines, and maintenance schedules.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline activity and client communication.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or account management experience in the HVAC or mechanical services industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of HVAC/R systems and service-based selling.
    • Proven track record of sales growth and client retention.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Familiarity with service management software and CRM platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience working with clients in healthcare, manufacturing, or mission-critical environments.
    • Technical certifications (e.g., HVAC License, NATE certification) a plus.
