BAS Service Technician – Delta Controls

We are seeking an experienced BAS Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building mechanical systems, experience with Delta Controls systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Spot Service: Diagnose and repair HVAC control systems for customers.
  • TSA Agreements: Perform tasks in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Emergency On-Call Support: Be available for periodic 24/7 emergency service and warranty calls.
  • Customer Development: Assist in building strong relationships with customers.
  • Project Assistance: Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and documentation development.
  • Product Training: Take part in ongoing product training, and assist with device requisitions and scheduling of manpower.
  • Identify Service Opportunities: Spot opportunities to sell Technical Support Agreements, promote upgrades, and offer solutions to customers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training, plus 5+ years of HVAC experience.
    • Prior experience with Delta Controls and building automation systems is highly preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Ability to manage a fast-paced, self-governing, and detail-oriented position.
  • Personal Traits:
    • Motivated, loyal, detail-oriented, and supportive.
    • Comfortable with occasional out-of-state travel for customer site visits.

Preferred Credentials:

  • Building Automation experience
  • Delta Controls experience
  • HVAC Service and Maintenance experience
  • Systems Integrator experience
