BAS Service Technician – Delta Controls
We are seeking an experienced BAS Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building mechanical systems, experience with Delta Controls systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Spot Service: Diagnose and repair HVAC control systems for customers.
- TSA Agreements: Perform tasks in line with company standards and procedures.
- Emergency On-Call Support: Be available for periodic 24/7 emergency service and warranty calls.
- Customer Development: Assist in building strong relationships with customers.
- Project Assistance: Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and documentation development.
- Product Training: Take part in ongoing product training, and assist with device requisitions and scheduling of manpower.
- Identify Service Opportunities: Spot opportunities to sell Technical Support Agreements, promote upgrades, and offer solutions to customers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training, plus 5+ years of HVAC experience.
- Prior experience with Delta Controls and building automation systems is highly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, self-governing, and detail-oriented position.
- Personal Traits:
- Motivated, loyal, detail-oriented, and supportive.
- Comfortable with occasional out-of-state travel for customer site visits.
Preferred Credentials:
- Building Automation experience
- Delta Controls experience
- HVAC Service and Maintenance experience
- Systems Integrator experience
