Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Automation Controls Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our building automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, energy management, and technology integration, along with exceptional leadership and project management skills. This role is crucial in optimizing building performance, enhancing energy efficiency, and ensuring occupant comfort.

System Management: Oversee the design, installation, and operation of building automation systems

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service and technical expertise.

Project Oversight: Plan and execute projects related to building automation systems, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet regulatory standards.

Energy Management: Analyze building performance data to identify opportunities for energy savings and implement strategies to optimize energy use across facilities.

System Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate building automation systems with existing technologies and ensure seamless operation.

Maintenance and Support: Develop and implement maintenance programs for building automation systems to ensure reliability and performance, including troubleshooting and repairs.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with facility managers, architects, and external contractors to align building automation initiatives with overall organizational goals.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, including safety protocols and sustainability initiatives.

Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for building automation projects and maintenance programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC systems, or facility management.
- Strong knowledge of building automation software (e.g., BACnet, LONWorks) and related technologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in building automation or energy management (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, Building Automation Professional) is a plus.
