BAS/Energy Sales Engineer – Fort Lauderdale Florida

Job Title: Building Automation/Energy Sales Engineer

The Building Automation Sales Representative will be responsible for outside sales growth within the BAS division which includes construction, retrofits, owner direct work, and service. This candidate will need to be able to work independently and have the ability to manage multiple client relationships while prioritizing tie and resources accordingly.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners.
  • Generate estimates and professional proposals for providing automation solutions.
  • Handle incoming inquiries for basic system questions, quotations, and product availability.
  • Maintain technical expertise on all control product lines.
  • Identification of new sales leads and prospects
  • Development of a strong sales backlog
  • Assist in sales calls to prospective clients as required
  • Sales and estimates of BAS construction/retrofit projects, change orders, and services
  • Coordinate with other divisions within the organization and the scheduling of work
