The Building Automation Technician/Programmer should be able to design, review, and implement customer building automation projects. Day-to-day tasks will be determined by the specific requirements of each project. This person would be responsible for the programming, installation, and commissioning for all Building Automation projects with a strong understanding of BAS systems.

Design and propose controls hardware appropriate for a project

Research and select a specific control system beneficial for the type of project

Provide technical support for BAS projects

Create systems using project hardware and computers

Configure BAS control algorithms

Execute internal functional and quality control testing

Develop and implement project graphics

Install project software

Perform integrations as required

Perform system commissioning via point to point checks

Participate in functional tests of all systems

Troubleshoot installation discrepancies of new systems

Perform troubleshooting/service for existing systems
