HVAC Engineering Sales Representative – Dallas Texas

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will call on and work with Engineering firms across N Texas 

GOALS:

  • Increase percentage of bids received specifying our products. (Basis of Design) through effective engagement with Building Owners and Consulting Engineers.  
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer / Market Engagement 
    1. Establish and strengthen relationships with Owners and Consulting Engineering firms to develop an outstanding working relationship of trust and technical competence. 
    2. Interface with Estimating and Commercial, Industrial and Control Sales engineers to coordinate project opportunities.  
    3. Coordinate with Manufacturer Rep partners to inform / educate engineers on products and services through joint sales calls, lunch & learns and factory trips.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Engineering Salesperson will be a strong influencer with a high sense of urgency.  More specifically, the candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience in engineering, contracting, or HVAC product sales.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or Industrial engineering preferred. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally work with and manage strong and diverse personalities.
  • Effective sales & prospecting skills
  • High Emotional IQ – Relationship building skills
