BAS Service Technician/Programmer – Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Job Description:
This employment opportunity is for a full-time position that involves working primarily at the customer’s location. The technician’s primary responsibility will be for servicing and maintaining EcoStruxure Direct Digital Control systems manufactured by Schneider Electric. As the technician gains more experience, they will be involved in transition and software update projects. This includes working with Schneider’s legacy product lines of TAC, I/Net, Tridium Niagara, IA, and Andover Continuum. While experience with any of these systems is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We will offer training on the Schneider systems, but applicants must have prior control experience.

Job Requirements:
• Three years prior experience servicing and/or starting up commercial building automation systems.
• Understanding different types of mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in control calibration and testing tools
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to understand control and mechanical drawings, sequence of operation, electrical schematics, and circuitry.
• Flexible to work overtime/weekends when needed to meet customers’ deadlines or requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of BACnet control systems.
• Strong IT background
• Prior experience in control programming and creating/modifying graphics.
• Physically capable of climbing stairs and ladders.
• Current U.S. Citizen
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass Pennsylvania background checks (Act 33, 34 & 73)
