We are searching for an experienced Regional Sales Leader – HVAC to lead our technical solutions sales teams. The mission is to continue to develop the existing sales culture, grow, and manage sales team members in the region. This Sales Leader will need to have the ability to see how the sales and operations work together to create a winning service sales culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven and successful sales management record with a thorough knowledge and demonstrated achievement and success in a high-ticket service sales industry. The Regional Sales Leader has responsibility for the revenue growth and profitability of each region. As well as development and ownership of the execution of core services go to market strategies.
Responsibilities:

Lead the Sales Team to drive business by executing sales strategies to achieve profitability, growth, and market penetration.

Manage a sales team of successful Business Development Managers and Account Managers.

Oversee the budget forecasting process to drive accurate projections based on the latest information available.

Direct, recruit, and lead the sales team with focus on continuous improvement and quota achievement.

Leads the project and service contract review process for design projects of various scale across country to ensure compliance with operating policies.

Develop, establish, and execute sales plans and targets for short- and long-term objectives for an established region.

Develop and direct the b2b sales team in new business development and account growth by selling bundled facility solutions to commercial facility building owners in the local markets.

Ensures branch teams are effectively billing contracts and projects as well as driving monthly cash collection strategy.

Support and guide staff during the sales process – from start to finish.

Work closely with the branch General Manager, Regional VP of Sales to help drive results and continuously develop your leadership skills.

Manage financial sales reports, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting.

Accompany sales representatives on customer appointments to drive sales.

Assist sales staff in building financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer’s perspective and generate and deliver impactful proposals that lead to signed contracts.

Drive recruitment and hiring of key sales personnel in the regions with our Director of Talent Acquisition and HR teams.

Provide regular feedback to Leadership team on status of large construction projects, particularly if there are difficulties (ex: schedule delay, installation difficulties, scope of work changes).

Ensures branch teams are effectively billing contracts and projects as well as driving monthly cash collection strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

5 to 8 years of experience, including management of sales staff.

Ability to effectively lead and inspire staff of direct reports.

Technical aptitude is helpful, but not required.

Passionate about leading and developing others to be successful.

Knowledge in b2b solution sales will be considered in lieu of degree.

Demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible business offerings to end-users.

Natural “hunter” sales mentality, goal driven and self-motivated.

Self-disciplined, results driven, or accustomed to winning sales awards through consistent high performance is desired.

Financial acumen and experience selling business solutions to building owners or C-Level strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or other CRM).
