The Building Automation Programmer should be able to design, review, and implement customer building automation projects. Day-to-day tasks will be determined by the specific requirements of each project. This person would be responsible for the programming for all Building Automation projects with a strong understanding of BAS systems.
- Design and propose controls hardware appropriate for a project
- Research and select a specific control system beneficial for the type of project
- Provide technical support for BAS projects
- Create systems using project hardware and computers
- Configure BAS control algorithms
- Execute internal functional and quality control testing
- Develop and implement project graphics
- Install project software
- Perform integrations as required
- Participate in functional tests of all systems
