BAS Technician – Raleigh North Carolina

Duties
• Installation, service, troubleshooting and programming of Delta Controls Systems.
• Oversee and ensure electrical installation of control system components meets standards and the expectations of the Project Manager.
• Provide field support services to include system start up, commissioning, system programming, and warranty as well as contract service, in an efficient and professional manner.
• Loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.
• Continually update and maintain project’s master field set of documentation for as-built/record purposes. This includes but is not limited to electrical power circuit I.D.’s, communication/network wiring, field panel locations, I.P. addresses, etc. . .
• Keeps management and customer informed of job progress and issues.
• Represent Company in a positive and professional manner to our customers. This includes effectiveness in problem solving, interpersonal communicative skills, and enthusiasm.
• Assists in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total building control system.
• Participates in progress meetings with project field team as directed.
• Track and manage project equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Travel, including overnight, as required.

Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years field experience in the HVAC controls industry including DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration and experience with pneumatic controls.
• Knowledge of Delta Controls a plus.
• Understanding of the construction industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Autocad, various operating systems.
• Proven track record of completing projects, being self-motivated and achieving customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to integrity and quality in business.
• Must pass a background check, reference check and drug screen.
