Building Automation Technician
The Building Automation Technician should be able to review and implement customer building automation projects. Day-to-day tasks will be determined by the specific requirements of each project. This person would be responsible for the installation, commissioning, etc for all Building Automation projects with a strong understanding of BAS systems.
- Research and select a specific control system beneficial for the type of project
- Provide technical support for BAS projects
- Create systems using project hardware and computer
- Execute internal functional and quality control testing
- Install project software
- Perform integrations as required
- Perform system commissioning via point to point checks
- Participate in functional tests of all systems
- Troubleshoot installation discrepancies of new systems
- Perform troubleshooting/service for existing systems
