ESTIMATOR
- Attend site visits with salesman or Engineer.
- Discuss project solutions and options with customers.
- Gather information needed for equipment selection and estimating and review with Engineering.
- Operate software for sheet metal design, piping design and labor and review with retrofit or construction manager.
- Send RFP to equipment and material vendors.
- Assemble proposals from vendors for review.
- Review sold projects with Project Managers and coordinate installation schedule with customers.
- Gather submittals for approval.
- Schedule equipment start up with service department.
- Meet with customer and perform project closeout including delivery of operation and maintenance manuals.
- Keep estimating software up to date.
- Keep drawings and Engineering department organized.
- Develop and file as built drawings.
- Apply for licensing and permits.
